The measure will be valid from January 29, 2022.

According to the document, there will be no limitation on the extent of management assets of foreign shareholders or partners, the extent of their assets and the holding of financial licenses. While in terms of share capital contribution, there are no restrictions on the share capital, the ratio of the initial capital contribution and the capital contribution period of foreign investors.

Qualified investors can launch businesses, including investing in shares of unlisted companies, unissued or traded shares of listed companies, convertible bonds, legalized and market-oriented debt-to-equity swaps, fund shares shares, as well as participation in grants. as original shareholders of listed companies. In addition, pilot companies can also invest in domestic private equity funds and venture capital funds (FOFs).

According to the measure, the pilot companies are expected to be private equity institutions and go through the registration of private equity fund managers and private equity fund deposit procedures with the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association.
